Early morning in Cataract Gorge. Foam trails lead the eye to the suspension bridge over the Gorge.
This is an amazing asset for Launceston. Cataract Gorge is a very beautiful and special place. I was thrilled to be here for this wonderful sunrise with the mist rolling up the Gorge and the early light hitting the wintery trees - it made for a special scene.
Sophia is doing photography for her art class. The brief is to photograph your life, your travels and your story - using the rule of thirds. While Sophia was thawing out in the view station and I was wishing for some fire in the belly, I snapped this view. Shot handheld and on a slightly higher ISO than I would have liked.
