Two of these little guys have been hanging around going in and out of the hedge. With Winter approaching they have been getting more and more adventurous coming to almost within touching distance. I couldn't resist getting a photo - even if it was with the flash on a rather dreary Scottish day. I wanted to get closer to the little guy, although it was raining and would rather not drown my favourite lens and beloved 7D. I have used the 2x extender and sacrificed a little clarity for the sake of a dry camera.
On my way home from taking some photos as the boating lake, I was greeted with one of the best skies I have seen in Scotland. This turned out to be a record breaking day in the United Kingdon. The wamest September day in over 100 years. Papers read 'Crieff warmer than Crete.' This is a 21 shot HDR panorama of the autumn colours in the park.
Lovely magenta Hydrangea late in Autumn 2011.
