If you saw my post here http://www.flickr.com/photos/jrmurray/6758949289/in/photostream/ then you would know I am quite mad. This is actually a photograph of a place where people cross into the parallel universe. Its a portal right here in Glasgow. Lucern has nothing on Glasgow with its Large Hadron Collider. Seriously, this is Buchanan Street on a wet day after work. Flipped vertically (ie: you're looking at the reflection) and horizontally for added effect.
Scientists now believe there may really be a parallel universe - in fact, there may be an infinite number of parallel universes, and we just happen to live in one of them. These other universes contain space, time and strange forms of exotic matter. Some of them may even contain you, in a slightly different form. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/horizon/2001/paralleluni.shtml). We know there is a Truman Show going on behind each puddle and the actors line up at the right time as we pass to reflect our world back. Yesterday I just happened to capture this shot of one of their houses and the actors were late so I was not reflected. Weird - too many late nights I think!
A shot of one of my favourite parts of town at the end of Winter. Actually it is many shots being a verto-panorama ie: two rows of three shots (HDR) per frame. 7547x6169 full resolution.
